Futures in Mind
An accessible and innovative service with a strong sense of social responsibility.
Making a positive difference
At Futures in Mind we are committed to exploring new ways of supporting children and young people who experience disadvantage. Whether it be through our ‘giving’ strategy; links with (local) charities and teaching schools or supporting local school-based initiatives, we aim to provide support that is accessible, innovative and makes a positive difference.
At Futures in Mind, we believe we can improve people’s lives through the application of psychology and how we deliver our service. Founded in 2017, we understand the imperative for our company to operate responsibly. To this end we seek to embed a strategy of ‘giving’ in the work we do.
‘Doing a kindness produces the most reliable momentary increase in wellbeing of any exercise we’ve tested.’
Martin Seligman, founder of Positive Psychology.
As part of our commitment to ‘giving’ we have joined up with a charity called Water for Kids – www.waterforkids.org.uk
We have donated some money which will ensure that children attending a school in Africa will have access to clean, fresh water: no longer will they have to draw water from the nearby contaminated open water source.
By providing for this basic need we are, in a small way, contributing to the education, health and wellbeing of these school children and the wider community.
